UK Universities visit our IB
Presentations by Imperial College London, the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and University College London (UCL) at the IB on 20 October outlined the range of courses available at each university, student life in London, opportunities for internships or studies abroad and scholarships for EU students. The importance of the application process, especially the personal statement, was emphasized. Following the presentations, students were able to ask questions in an informal Q&A session.
A workshop-style presentation at the IB on 17 October by several admissions tutors and heads of departments at Newcastle University in the UK, was followed by one-to-one student-tutor Q&A sessions. Students were able to ask the admissions tutors specific questions about the courses offered, scholarships available and links with industry, focusing on the subject they want to study.
Furthermore, students interested in the top 10 UK courses offered by Warwick University, such as business, accountancy, science and the arts, attended a presentation followed by a Q&A session on Friday 21 October.
